Once, Twice, Three Times a Graveman

Kendall Graveman with the hat trick in complete games.

In bowling - the turkey. In hockey - the hat trick. Soul music - a #1 hit. For MSU, Kendall Graveman is pitching lights out as he leads the Bulldogs to their 2nd straight series win with a 9-3 defeat of Texas A&M in Game 2.

The offense broke out early and often for seven runs over the first 3 innings. The biggest inning was the 2nd which featured back to back home runs from Detz (1) and Renfroe (12). That's right, Renfroe went deep again.

Adam Frazier had a big day getting on base four times including a single, double and triple in his first three at bats. Renfroe, Rea and Bradford all had multiple hit days as well.

Graveman was the story again, however. He went the full nine, giving up 3 runs on 9 hits, 6 strikeouts and ZERO walks. He threw 110 pitches.

MSU improves to 29-9 (7-7) on the year. They go for the sweep at 1:05 Sunday afternoon.
