Gil Brandt, senior analyst with NFL.com, reports this morning that he is hearing that the Jaguars could take MSU cornerback and 2012 Jim Thorpe Award winner Johnthan Banks with the 33rd overall pick.
I'm hearing @jaguars leaning toward taking Johnthan Banks w/ 1st pick in 2nd round, not a QB. #NFLDraft

That pick, the first in today's second round of the draft, would be on-par with what we've seen from many analysts, as Banks has been projected by many to be drafted in the 2nd round.
Also, we will keep an eye out today for reports on where Darius Slay might end up. Slay is also expected to be taken by someone in today's 2nd or 3rd rounds.
