Ribs are good. I like all kinds of ribs. I don't think I've ever had ribs I didn't like. But not all of us have a smoker to slow cook ribs all day, or maybe not the time either. So here is a recipe for some really good ribs that are pretty easy to make.
Ingredients
- Ribs
- Salt & Pepper
- Brown sugar
- BBQ sauce
After you rinse off the ribs, salt and pepper them. Then, fill a large pot with water and place the ribs in them. Have them boil for approximately 30 minutes. While you are doing this go ahead and preheat your oven to 250 degrees.
Once you've boiled the ribs take out the brown sugar and liberally coat the ribs with it on a cookie sheet (be sure to have aluminum foil under the ribs). It should sort of crystallize when it hits the warm meat. Cover with the aluminum foil and place them in the oven for 2-3 hours.
When it's about time to take the ribs out go ahead and get your grill going, but not too hot. You'll want to be able to have the ribs on there for about 30-45 minutes without burning. While they are on the grill you can slap some BBQ sauce on them.
At this point the meat should fall right off the bone when you bite in. Good eatin'.
