We are about thirty minutes from kicking off the afternoon and evening games, and sadly, when these games close, we will be just past the midway point of the college football regular season.
The top matchup at 3:30 (2:30CT) features No. 21 Texas A&M traveling to No. 7 Alabama. The Aggies have made life difficult for the Crimson Tide since joining the SEC, and should they win today, many of the goals Alabama fans had coming into the season will be smashed.
Also playing at 3:30 are the last hope for a Big Ten team to make the college football playoff. No. 8 Michigan State plays at Indiana, and Rutgers travels to No. 13 Ohio State.
Thirty minutes later, a huge Big 12 game kicks off when No. 15 Oklahoma State travels to No. 12 TCU. In the SEC, the No. 10 Georgia Bulldogs will try to avoid an upset in Fayetteville against the Arkansas Razorbacks.
At 5 CT, the Group of Five darlings, No. 25 Marshall travels to FIU. Missouri and Florida kick it off in Gainesville an hour later, as do No. 3 Ole Miss and Tennessee in Oxford.
At 7, all eyes will turn to Tallahassee for No. 2 Florida State vs. No. 5 Notre Dame, and later, we all turn our eyes to the west for Pac-12 action.
