Another part of the power five conference scheduling puzzle may have fallen into place for Mississippi State as the Bulldogs and Kansas State Wildcats have apparently used twitter to set up a home and home with the Bulldogs heading to Manhattan in 2018, and the Wildcats coming to Starkville in 2019. According to this from ESPN's Brett McMurphy, even though there is not a signed contract for the series, there are no anticipated problems.
So, @HailStateFB vs @KState_Football: ‘18 in Manhattan; ’19 in Starkville. Pleasure doing business with you, @John_Currie. #HailState

All SEC schools must play a power five conference foe beginning in 2016. If this holds, Mississippi State has gaps for the 2016 and 2017 seasons. Earlier this year, the Bulldogs announced home and homes with Arizona (2022, 2023) and North Carolina State (2020, 2021.)
With Mississippi State facing opponents from the ACC, Pac-12 and apparently the Big 12, could a Big Ten foe be next on the list?
