The talk has been swirling for over a month, but it appears that Mississippi State pitching coach Butch Thompson will end up being the new head coach of the Auburn Tigers.

As Aaron Fitt pointed out, the process is far from over, but Bulldog fans most likely need to prepare for life after Butch.
