Morning Linkage, etc.
Dak - Dak wrote an article for Sports Illustrated's site "Campus Rush" entitled "How Starkville Shaped Me: Mississippi State's Role in Molding Me into the Quarterback and Man I am Today." You should read it right now.
Science! - Nice clip of Fred Ross's circus grab against Arkansas on ESPN's "Sport Science" series this week. Here it is if you haven't seen it:
Poor Devilettes - So State's Top 10 women's basketball team beat hapless Mississippi Valley State last night 109 - 37. Our team is obviously great, but, man, Valley, y'all been getting the fuzzy end of the lollipop all month. Four games against SEC teams, four increasingly bad butt-kickings. Lost to Mississippi by 36, Vanderbilt by 50, Alabama by 63, and then MSU by 72. Yikes.
Mullen and Dak talk about an egg; grown men with laptops type furiously - Mullen's game week press conference happened Monday afternoon. Here it is:
Calhoun reflecting on career at State - Senior DB Taveaze Calhoun spoke with the media this week about his time in Starkville, the state of the secondary, and the Egg Bowl.
Diaz sings the praises of the Rebels' offense - Another week, another game against a Top 10 offense. Huzzah! Hit the link to read some of Diaz' thoughts on Chad Kelly, or just watch it in more detail below:
It's Egg Bowl week, y'all. Get in the spirit.
