The time has come for the Maroon and White to play their final game of the season. Mississippi State takes on NC State at 2:30 PM CT to send off Dak Prescott. However, Dak will be playing in some less than perfect conditions.
Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC will have a chance of showers all day long. They will be light as tailgaters cook their breakfasts in the parking lots along I-77. Fans will see some light winds coming in from the south which could put a damper on their cookouts.
Closer to gametime, rain will become heavier. Expect periods of heavy rain from the Dawg Walk through the end of the game. A half to one inch of rain is possible in Charlotte on Wednesday.
Thunder and lightning are possible in the second half, but this system looks more to be a rainmaker. Winds will be gusting to 10-15 mph in the late afternoon. which could definitely cause an issue for both teams' passing and kicking game.
However the weather sways the outcome on the field, Hail State Nation will be proud of the Bulldogs for a great 2016 campaign!
