Open Thread: Mississippi State Bulldogs vs. North Carolina State Wolfpack in the Belk Bowl

A shortage of story line will not be an issue when Mississippi State squares off with North Carolina State in the Belk Bowl in Charlotte, North Carolina.

For the both teams, they say farewell to senior quarterbacks who mean much to their programs in Mississippi State's Dak Prescott and in North Carolina State's Jacoby Brissett. In the case of Prescott, there may not be a player in college football that has meant as much to his program than Dak meant to Mississippi State.

For Mississippi State, they play in their sixth bowl game under Dan Mullen, sporting a 3-2 record headed into the contest. For seniors on the squad, they wear the maroon and white one last time after accomplishing more than most thought possible in Starkville.
