Mississippi State Defensive Coordinator Manny Diaz Headed to Miami

Miami announced that they have hired a defensive coordinator for Mark Richt's staff: now former Mississippi State Defensive Coordinator Manny Diaz.

Diaz's squad put on a strong display against ACC foe North Carolina State in the Belk Bowl Wednesday, but many Mississippi State fans were unsatisfied with his return to Starkville this season.

Diaz had been rumored as a candidate for the same position at Auburn a week or so ago.
