Mississippi State Bye Week: Around the SEC Open Thread

There’s a lot going on around the conference. Let’s discuss the SEC’s happenings.

Mississippi State may not be playing today, but there are some big games happening around the conference. As of right now, Arkansas is throttling Alcorn State and Florida is in a tight, defensive struggle with Vanderbilt.

Coming up at 2:30 CT, Tennessee and Georgia will be squaring off between the hedges and Auburn will be hosting Louisiana-Monroe. At 3:00, the Gamecocks and Aggies will be facing each other in Columbia. Come 6:00, Alabama will be matching up with Kentucky while Ole Miss hosts Memphis. To wrap things up for the conference, Ed Orgeron will get his first game as LSU’s head coach against Mizzou.
