So the AP Top 25 expects the SEC Basketball Standings to be something like this:

  1. Kentucky
  2. Florida
  3. Mississippi State
  4. Texas A&M
  5. Vanderbilt

If Mississippi State does indeed finish in the top 5 of the SEC, It would be a huge step for Second Year Head Coach Ben Howland as the majority of his team this year is freshmen. While many Bulldog fans expect that the Bulldogs will take a step forward in 2018, Don’t be surprised if the Bulldogs are able to make the postseason in 2017.
