What was expected to originally be a season ending injury for Quinndary Weatherspoon is apparently something he’ll be able to play through.

There had been rumors recently that Weatherspoon might be able to return to action this season, and it has just been confirmed that is actually the case. Ben Howland and Mississippi State have sorely missed Weatherspoon’s presence on the floor. He’s by far the Bulldogs’ best player this year and was missed on both offense and defense.

There’s no telling just how much this injury will slow Weatherspoon down, but it’s good news for the Bulldogs that Q is able to return to the court. Hopefully his presence can help to bring some life back to the young team and he can help to lead them forward.
After multiple doctor visits, determined the surgery could wait until after the season. He's able to play through it https://t.co/N0VT7UfRD8
