After losing WR commit Zach Farrar last night, State needed to rebound quickly to regain momentum going into National Signing Day, and this qualifies as exactly that. 3-Star OG Stewart Reese announced on Monday afternoon he will be headed to Starkville, and he is a huge get for the Bulldogs. 247Sports was the first to report the news.

Reese is a player at a major position of need for Coach Mullen and the staff, and he could end up playing much sooner rather than later. He had offers from SEVERAL other Power 5 programs, most notably Ole Miss, Florida State, Alabama, Florida, and many many more (had 36 offers according to 247Sports)
Reese is rated as a high-three star according to 247Sports, and with an elite frame at 6-foot-5 and 340 pounds, it isn't hard to see why. He is a Top-60 player in the state of Florida, as well as a top-twenty player at his position nationally.
Taking a look at Reese's senior highlights, he has an extremely quick first step for someone his size, and he knows how to use his size to get an upper hand on the opposition. He will definitely have to adjust to the size and technique of the opponents after making the move to guard at the next level. Check out his highlights, courtesy of Hudl:
