Mississippi State has battled back from multiple large deficits this season, only to suffer heartbreak in the end. That all changed on Tuesday night against Vanderbilt.
The Bulldogs stormed back from 17 down but more importantly finished the deal this time with a game-winning three pointer at the buzzer from Quinndary Weatherspoon. The shot lifted MSU to a 75-74 victory.
Check out the video from HailState Productions, which includes a slow-motion view of the moment the young freshman will carry with him the rest of his career.

Weatherspoon finished the game with 24 points. The play landed number one on Sportscenter, marking the second time Q has made an appearance on the top 10. His dunk against South Carolina on January 26 made the No. 4 spot.
I don't know about you, but I'm starting to think that MSU could very well have a one-and-done player, and it isn't Malik Newman. Weatherspoon has carried the team on his back since taking over a starting spot. There's no doubt he has a future in the NBA. For MSU fans, let's hope that future doesn't start after this season.
