After being called up a couple of days ago to join the Giants on their road trip, Chris Stratton made his big league debut today.

Chris Stratton is on to make his major league debut. Whole lot of his family made the 5-hour trip from Tupelo.

Stratton entered in the 8th inning to relieve Derek Law and struck out two batters en route to a 1-2-3 inning for the Giants.

The Giants ended up dropping the game 5-3, but something tells me that Stratton's performance will be the first of many at the major league level. It's always fun to see alumni of MSU play at the highest level, here's to hoping that Stratton will get plenty more opportunities to do so.
