Mississippi State juniors Nathaniel Lowe and Gavin Collins have been selected in the 13th round to the Tampa Rays and Cleveland Indians.
So far on the 2016 campaign, Nathaniel Lowe, Mississippi State's junior 1st baseman, has batted a team 2nd best .354 with 49 RBIs and five home runs. Lowe is the only player on the team who has started every game this season. Lowe's brother, Joshua, was drafted 13th overall to the Rays out of high school.
So far this year, Gavin Collins, Mississippi State's junior third baseman/catcher, has batted .300 with 38 RBIs and a team leading 10 home runs.
Lowe and Collins are the 6th and 7th Bulldogs drafted, joining Dakota Hudson, Reid Humphreys, Daniel Brown, Jacob Robson, and Zac Houston.
