Brent Rooker, Jack Kruger Return to Mississippi State

With the summer ball lineups being announced, it's confirmed that MLB Draft picks Brent Rooker and Jack Kruger will return to Mississippi State.

Today, Mississippi State released the full lineup of Bulldogs that will be playing summer ball before the 2017 baseball season. That lineup included Jack Kruger, junior catcher who was drafted in the 20th round to the Los Angeles Angels, and Brent Rooker, sophomore outfielder who was drafted in the 38th round to the Minnesota Twins.

That indicates that the two, both of whom were key contributors to the 2016 club, will be returning for another season to wear the maroon and white. The nine other draftees will head to the pros.
