Despite the collegiate softball season being over, Nusz Park is about to host even more softball this Friday evening. The USSSA Pride and the Pennsylvania Rebellion are meeting and will face each other as part of the nine games that National Pro Fastpitch is having on college campuses this summer.

The matchup will feature a few familiar faces for those who have been keeping up with Vann Stuedeman’s ball club. Mississippi State volunteer assistant coach Keilani Ricketts is in her fourth season playing with the USSSA Pride while her sister, assistant coach for Mississippi State, Samantha Ricketts is an assistant coach for the Pride as well.

In addition to both Samantha and Keilani Ricketts representing Mississippi State, former star shortstop Kayla Winkfield will be representing Mississippi State for the Pennsylvania Rebellion. Winkfield is in the midst of her rookie season after being drafted back in April.

The gates (and more importantly the concession stands) will open for fans at 5 PM and the game will start at 7:04. Autographs will be available for fans that are 18 and younger during post game.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for those that are 12 and younger, and free to children 3 or younger that do not need a seat.

You can get a full schedule for the evening here and tickets are available ahead of time here.
