For the first time since 2013, a Mississippi State Bulldog has been named to the ABCA/Rawlings All-American team as both freshman sensation Jake Mangum and star pitcher Dakota Hudson, now with the St. Louis Cardinals organization, were both named to the 3rd team.

This is the first time since 1996 that Mississippi State has had multiple players named to the ABCA All-American team. Eric DuBose and Rob Hauswald made the ABCA team back in 1996.

With the ABCA/ Rawlings selection, Jake Mangum and Dakota Hudson are now on five All-American teams each. Mangum was also picked to be first team by NCBWA freshmen, second team NCBWA, and third team for Baseball America and Louisville Slugger. Hudson is a second team selection for Baseball America, Louisville Slugger, and the NCBWA. He's also a third team selection for D1Baseball.

You can read more about the listing here.

As of right now, Dakota Hudson has a inked a deal with the Cardinals

And Jake Mangum is playing ball with the Bourne Braves, a summer team affiliated with the Cape Cod League
