The Mississippi State volleyball team and coach David McFatrich released their schedule for 2016 on Thursday.

The schedule appears to be pretty rigorous for McFatrich and his team. 18 of the 32 matches will be on the road, leaving just 14 at home in Starkville. The Bulldogs also open their season by hosting the Kansas Jayhawks, a team that made it to the Final Four a season ago.

The match with Kansas is part of the Bulldog Invitational for opening weekend on August 26th. The Bulldogs will also host Lamar, Eastern Washington, and McNeese State for opening weekend.

Eastern Illinois, Troy, Florida International, and Portland will all come down for the Maroon Classic, another invitational set of matches on Friday, September 16th and Saturday the 17th.

Other notable home matches include Auburn, Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida, Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Georgia.

The entire schedule for the Bulldogs is listed here.
