It's become pretty predictable at this point. Water is wet. The SEC Media Days crew doesn't believe MSU is better than any other SEC West team. It's been happening for a few years now, despite those predictions being wrong every year.
But, here we are in 2016, and the folks in Hoover have picked Mississippi State to finish last, yet again.
#SECMD16 SEC West Predictions:
— SEC Network (@SECNetwork) July 14, 2016
1. Alabama
2. LSU
3. Ole Miss
4. Texas A&M
5. Arkansas
6. Auburn
7. Mississippi State
Yup. Folks really don't think Mississippi State will be much of anything in the post Dak Prescott era. But this is nothing new. Folks didn't think that we'd be successful at all with Dak Prescott either. And it's not like we should put any stock in these predictions either. SEC Media Day folks are out here picking teams like Arkansas, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt to compete for the SEC Championship this year.
SEC West media poll (1st place votes in parentheses):

1. Bama (246)
2. LSU (76)
3. Ole Miss (5)
4. A&M (3)
5. Arky (1)
6. Auburn
7. Miss. St
SEC East media poll (1st place votes in parentheses):
— GABAttack (@GABAttack) July 14, 2016
1. Tenn. (225)
2. Fla. (57)
3. UGA (45)
4. UK
5. Vandy (2)
6. Miz
7. #Gamecocks (2)
Yup. You read that correctly. There are people on this earth that believe Vanderbilt has a chance to win the SEC. So, again, don't put too much stock into this. Outside of the fact that Alabama and Tennessee are more than likely going to compete in Atlanta for the SEC title, these predictions are a bit of a joke at this point.
