Ware was most recently playing with the Orlando Magic's Blue Team in the NBA Summer League, but will now be taking his talents to go play close to the coast of north Belgium. The Port of Antwerp Giants compete in both the Belgium League and FIBA Europe Cup.
The Giants were interested in Ware due to his size and the fact that he had career highs in field goals made, field goals attempted, field goal percentage, free throw percentage, assists, offensive rebounds, total points scored, and tied career highs in steals and blocks.
Ware's 15.4 points per game and 7.8 rebounds per game will likely draw him plenty of playing time for the team that was the runner up in the Belgian Cup and a quarter finalist for the FIBA Europe Cup. Ware standing at 6'9" and 260 pounds would make him the biggest man on their roster.
