The Bully BarkLine is a weekly, hour long radio show and podcast dedicated to Mississippi State sports. It is hosted by one of the editors of For Whom the Cowbell Tolls Justin Strawn.
You can hear the show every week on over 20 radio stations across the state of Mississippi. If you don’t live in the listening area, you can listen to the show through a podcast. You can subscribe on iTunes and catch it here on For Whom the Cowbell Tolls each and every Wednesday.
This week’s show is the first ever to appear on For Whom the Cowbell Tolls. And joining the show this week was Mississippi State Athletic Director Scott Stricklin. Scott talked to us about a number of topics surrounding the Mississippi State program. We talked about the prospects of the high profile programs and the optimistic outlook for each of them. We also discussed the emergence of Dak Prescott during the preseason of the Dallas Cowboys and what it might mean for the state of the Mississippi State football program.
We also want to thank one of our sponsors of the show, Cherokee Valley Golf Club in Olive Branch, MS. If you are ever in Northwest Mississippi and have an opportunity to work in a round of golf, then consider Cherokee Valley Golf Club. The course offers a challenging experience for golfers of all ability levels. Now through the month of September, if you book a tee time online and put BARKLINE in the comments, you can get $5 off your greens fees.
So make plans to join us each week as we talk about the state of MSU athletics. We air throughout the entire academic year, and it should be a lot of fun! You definitely won’t want to miss it! You can listen to the show’s podcast by CLICKING HERE.
