Mississippi State Football: What makes Kylin Hill such a lethal offensive weapon?

The Bulldogs dodged a bullet, as Hill’s injury was a mere scare, still having him at their disposal.

As seen in in last week’s loss to Arkansas, senior running back Kylin Hill’s injury scare exploited the Bulldogs’ offensive vulnerability with him off the field.

Arguably the best running back in the Southeastern Conference, and one of the best in the nation, Hill is an experienced, versatile swiss-army knife. His combination of speed, power and finesse makes him an immediate threat. At 5-foot-11, 210 pounds, Hill is cerebral, patient and can put any defense on their heels.

While he is a formidable back, Hill continues to prove himself as a reliable receiver, as he hauled in eight receptions for 158 yards and a touchdown against LSU. Expect him to improve further his pass-catching skills in Leach’s Air Raid offense.

The Bulldogs will be traveling to Lexington, Kentucky, to face the Kentucky Wildcats, and Hill should bounce back quickly. Look for him to post north of 100 yards rushing or receiving come tomorrow’s matchup. When healthy, Hill is virtually unstoppable. As he looks to be ready, expect impressive numbers and career performance.

Hail State!
