Mississippi State's first game against the Texas A&M Aggies since the Aggies joined the SEC will take place at 11a.m. next Saturday, November 3, 2012 the league announced today.
The Bulldogs and Aggies lost out on the 2:30 CBS spot to Ole Miss and Georgia, who play in Athens next week. All games outside of LSU - Alabama and Ole Miss - Georgia are being played at 11 am Central, in accordance with CBS' agreement with ESPN centered around the LSU - Alabama game.
This is obviously disappointing for State fans, as essentially our biggest home game is an early game. Add to that fact that the night before is Bulldog Bash, and you have a recipe for a hungover student section and a much quieter crowd.
Remember, there's no shame in just tailgating post game.
