OPENING ODDS: And the MSU-Ole Miss favorite is...

Makes perfect sense. According to BetOnline.com, you might as well flip a coin to pick this weekend's winner.

Online Pick 'Ems are often quite popular when average Joe sports fans want to chose their favorite team to win a grand prize. Well, BetOnline.com has this weekend's 109th Egg Bowl as a "pk".

You know what is wilder than this game being a pick 'em? The folks in Las Vegas have spelled "Mississipi" State wrong again. BUT wait... they spell "Mississippi" correctly underneath it. My gosh. What gives?

Regardless, this game is set up to be a great regular season-ending match for in-state rivals. All the annual trash talk and bragging rights have come down to this weekend in Oxford. MSU is fighting for a fourth-straight Egg while Ole Miss is searching for an earth shattering 6-win season and a chance to bowl for the first time since 2009. For the first time in almost a decade this game will have more implications than just football bragging rights.

Make sure to keep up with FWtCT.com all week for hate-filled but informative MSU-Mississippi articles. We plan on keeping you up-to-date daily, brothers and sisters.

Until then, enjoy this and party like it's 1999:

[UPDATE - 11.20.2012, 7a.m.] It looks like the line has moved in Ole Miss' favor, as the Rebels are now a 1.5 point favorite over MSU.
