As first reported by Paul Jones of Bulldogs24/7, Amanda Elzy shooting guard Maurice Dunlap has verbally committed to Mississippi State. Dunlap, a 6'1", 165lb guard, also reportedly has offers from Alcorn State, Louisiana Tech, and Ole Miss.

Dunlap is Coach Rick Ray's first oral commitment for the class of 2014. At this time, Maurice is unranked by any of the major recruiting services (24/7, Rivals, Scout), as they have yet to rank the class of 2014.
