When Mississippi State sneaks past a not-so-good Kentucky squad and South Carolina rallies to knock off the No. 5 Missouri Tigers in Columbia North, one can imagine that the odds do not stack up well for the Bulldogs.
Betonline.com lists the Bulldogs as 13-point underdogs against the Gamecocks. Right now, 21 teams are listed as bigger underdogs than Mississippi State: South Florida (+14.5), UMass (+23.5), Temple (+14.5), Southern Miss (+28), Purdue (+31), Georgia State (+18), Virginia (+17), Iowa State (+14.5), West Virginia (+13.5), California (+14.5), Navy (+17.5), Hawaii (+21.5), New Mexico State (+28), Florida International (+21), Eastern Michigan (+28.5), Colorado (+26), Miami (+21.5), New Mexico (+16), UTEP (+45--largest spread this weekend, against Texas A&M), New Mexico (+16), and Nevada (+21.5).
Mississippi State and Tennessee are the largest underdogs in SEC play; both are 13-point dogs.
An interesting note, the UNDER won in both Mississippi State vs. Kentucky and South Carolina vs. Missouri.
