- Ross Mitchell had hip surgery this summer and will be shut down for fall practice, but he will be back to full speed for the season.
- There are 43 players on the roster, but it will be trimmed to 35.
- There are four options at catcher and shortstop.
- Ben Bracewell and Brandon Woodruff will not be ready for the start of fall practice, but hopefully they'll be back to full strength by the spring - but it's hard to tell especially with BB.
Wes Rea has seen lots of deer this early season but hasn't taken any, he's being picky.
