AP Poll Released: Any surprises at the top spot?

How did the voters of the AP poll react to the uneventful week in college football

Melina Vastola-USA TODAY Sports

While the Coaches Poll voters surprised some folks with their collective decision to move Alabama over Florida State in the poll, no such surprises happened in the AP Poll where the top-four teams remained unchanged after a bit of an uneventful week in college football.

Florida State remained in the top spot, followed by Alabama, Oregon, and Mississippi State.  The first change in the poll happened in the Nos. 5 and 6 spots as TCU dropped a spot, and Baylor moved up a spot.  Michigan State and Ole Miss fell out of the top-10. Four teams hopped into the top-25 that were not ranked last week: No. 22 Minnesota, No. 23 Clemson, No. 24 Louisville, and No. 25 Boise State.
