Dak Prescott and his attack on Mississippi State single season and career records

With one game left in the 2014 regular season, here is a look at where Dak Prescott stands against the all-time Mississippi State record book.

With one game left in his junior season, here a check-in on where Dak Prescott stands on several all-time lists at Mississippi State.

Career Passing Yards-Vandy

The career passing yardage mark is one that jumps out to me.  Given that Prescott has really only started for about a year and a half, the fact that he is less than 1500 yards away from this record is impressive. With three road games in the first five games of the season next year, there is a good chance this record might fall on the road.

Prescott is also closing in on Tyler Russell's mark for passing yards in a season.

Dak Prescott is only five touchdowns behind Tyler Russell on this list, and six touchdown passes will give him the record all alone.  Usually, I am a fan of breaking records at home, but if Prescott wants to toss six touchdowns against Ole Miss Saturday, I am not going to argue.

Career Rushing TD-Vandy
This is a career record that stands a bit away from Prescott still at the time.  However, he only needs less than one rushing touchdown per game for the rest of his career to claim this record as well.

Below are a few records that Prescott has already taken over at Mississippi State.
