Thanksgiving Night Football Open Thread: Come talk TCU-Texas, LSU-Texas A&M, Seattle-San Francisco

Thanksgiving night has three solid offerings on tap, and none will be bigger for Mississippi State fans than TCU-Texas.

John Rieger-USA TODAY Sports

One of the biggest games of the week for Mississippi State fans kick off at 6:30 when TCU travels to Texas.  Should the Horned Frogs get past the Longhorns, all appears set for TCU to finish the season at 11-1 and as a legitimate threat to take a spot in the College Football Playoff.

TCU has only slipped up once this year, losing a three-point game to Baylor in which defense was optional.  The Longhorns started the season off slowly, but they have looked better as of late, making them a trendy upset pick for the weekend.  Mississippi State fans will have an eye on this game as one of their biggest competitors for a playoff spot could fall by the wayside with a loss.

Over in the SEC, a struggling LSU team meets up with a hot and cold Texas A&M team.  The Tigers have lost their last two games since knocking off Ole Miss, and the Aggies picked up a close win against UL-Monroe before knocking off Auburn and then losing to Missouri.

Over in the NFL, the San Francisco 49ers meet up with the defending Super Bowl champions in a game very important to the Seattle Seahawks playoff hopes.  That game is set for a 7:30 kickoff.

If everyone is in a turkey coma, come on over and talk the games with us.
