The Mississippi State Bulldogs now stand as one of seven undefeated teams in women's college basketball, and at 14-0, hold the longest winning streak and the best start to a season in the history of the program.

The players making it happen are not going unnoticed as Victoria Vivians has been named the SEC's Freshman of the Week for the second time this season. In fact, a Bulldog has picked up the honor on three of the six occasions it has been released this season.

This past week, Vivians scored eleven points against Mississippi Valley State, had a double-double against Louisiana-Lafayette with 17 points and 12 rebounds, picked up 12 points against Illinois-Chicago, and went for 20 points against Miami (OH).

The victory over Louisiana-Lafayette handed the Ragin' Cajuns their first loss of the season.

For the season, Vivians is averaging 16.3 points per game, tops in the SEC for freshman players, and third nationally among freshmen.
