Mississippi State wearing 100-year commemorative uniforms versus LSU
After the overly positive response to the special uniforms MSU wore for the season opener to commemorate 100 years of football at Davis Wade, MSU made the pledge that they would, in fact, wear the unis again this season. That time has finally come three games later, as the Bulldogs will break them out Saturday night in Death Valley.
Although they are only threads, letters and numbers, these uniforms -- which we've noted before are designed after the great MSU uniforms of the late 90s -- are very similar to the ones MSU wore the last time they defeated the Tigers.
Hey, we'll take all the luck we can get to break up a 14-game losing streak.
