Hello, Computer. How's the Internet today?

Before you get in your obligatory half hour of zoning out at your desk, take a short stroll through some of the MSU-related and maybe-not-so-MSU-related miscellany that the internet has to offer today.

Before we get started, this:

Morning Linkage

Mullen talks Kentucky win - Here's Mullen's post-Kentucky ramble, where he talks about Dak's amazing Dakness and other noble truths:

Thoughts from the behind the woodshed - Mark Stoops was displeased Saturday evening. Very displeased. Here are his thoughts immediately after the game, which begin with the blunt but apt assessment, "Not a very good night:"

While we're soaking up Kentucky's misery, check out the post-game takeaways by the fellas at "A Sea of Blue." They're displeased as well, as  you can imagine.

Stoking the flames of rumor and unconfirmed rumblings - So when John Cohen tweeted about hiring one of the nation's "elite pitching coaches" to replace Butch Thompson (who left to become Auburn head coach a few days ago), he wasn't joking. Looks like Jason Dietrich of Cal State Fullerton is the leading candidate. Here's Dietrich's bio, and here's a peek at what he's done at a school that's been to the College World Series seven times in the past fifteen years (most recently last season):

In his first two seasons at Cal State Fullerton, Dietrich helped develop one of the best pitching staffs in Titans history. In his first season with the program, the 2013 Titans pitching staff set new single-season records at Fullerton including earned run average (2.47), fewest walks (86), walks per nine innings pitched (1.41), hits per nine innings pitched (7.59) and shutouts (11).

Not a good day in the Sunshine State - After suffering the worst loss in program history, Miami fired Al Golden. And of course you may have seen that this happened to Florida State:

(Watched this live with a few friends Saturday night. (It was on an alternate TV while the State-Kentucky game was on in the main room. Got to do what you got to do, am I right?) We watched replays over and over just to hear commentator''s unbridled, voice-cracking enthusiasm when he squealed "What a time to be alive!")

UF is lucky that it had an off week.

Metal  on a Monday morning

Sometimes you just need to rock out. Here's a band with an amazing not-safe-for-work name who plays not-safe-for-pansies music.
