After being on the wrong side of a throttling at the hands of Alabama Saturday night, Mississippi State managed to stay in the top-25 of the Coaches Poll, which was released Sunday.
Other SEC team include No. 3 Alabama, No. 8 Florida, No. 17 LSU, and T-25 Ole Miss.
Last year, Mississippi State and Ole Miss tied for third in the poll following the Rebels victory over the Crimson Tide and the Bulldogs win over Texas A&M. That was a much cooler tie.
