MSU's women's basketball team continues their march through a killer SEC schedule tonight with a game against Kentucky. The Wildcats are currently 18-5 and ranked 10th nationally. They have a couple of quality wins over teams like Baylor and Louisville but have also dropped games to Illinois and LSU.

UK's women's team is not a total powerhouse like their male counterparts but they are coming off a relatively easy win at Vanderbilt. The Bulldogs vanquished the #14 Texas A&M Aggies in overtime at the Hump this past Sunday. MSU is currently tied for 3rd place in the SEC at 23-3 overall, 8-3 in conference play. UK is 7-3 in conference and holds sole possession of 5th place.

MSU guard Morgan William won SEC freshman of the week honors for the second time this season last week and has been on a hot streak. Guard Makayla Epps leads Kentucky's attack and will likely face off directly with William making for an interesting match up.

UK's women play their games in Memorial Coliseum instead of Rupp Arena but they have an avid following, nonetheless, and it won't be an easy environment play in. If the Bulldogs can keep up the phenomenal effort and high level of play that they've had all season, this should be a close fought, winnable game.
