A blast of cold weather has made its way to the Magnolia State, and with temperatures in the lower 30s and a chance of snow in the forecast, the decision has been made to cancel the Bulldogs' Tuesday tilt with the Delta Devils of Mississippi Valley State according to a release from Mississippi State.
According to the same announcement, the Bulldogs will look to reschedule against Mississippi Valley or another team at a later date this season. Fans holding tickets to the game originally scheduled for Tuesday can use those tickets for the makeup game, and if a replacement game is not scheduled, the tickets can be used for general admission to any remaining 2015 contest.
With midweek action cancelled, the Bulldogs will return to the diamond with a game against Marshall on Friday at 6:30. The Bulldogs will also play the Thundering Herd on Saturday at the same time, and will face Alabama A&M at 2 Saturday and at 4:30 Sunday.
