Mississippi State continued to shoot up in the polls after being one of the last three teams in college baseball to remain undefeated.
In the D1Baseball Poll, the Bulldogs rocketed seven spots to #15. D1Baseball.com writer Kendall Rogers praised the Maroon and White on twitter this weekend after back-to-back wins over Arizona, followed by two wins over Samford.
Vanderbilt, Florida, South Carolina, and LSU kept their respective spots at 1,2,5, and 7 in the D1Baseball Poll. Texas A&M stayed at #14, one spot ahead of Mississippi State. Ole Miss and Alabama were the only SEC teams to drop in this week's rankings. Ole Miss dropped to #22, and Alabama fell out of the top 25.
The Bulldogs climbed into the top 10 in the Baseball America Poll at #9. That's a jump of four spots from #13 last week. Baseball America is one of three different polls to have the Dogs in the top 10.
The Diamond Dogs hit the field again Tuesday night at 6:30 in a midweek contest with Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
