Open Thread: Mississippi State at No. 25 Arkansas-Game One

With the season coming unhinged, the Bulldogs head to Fayetteville to face another ranked foe.

Mississippi State was supposed to have been rounding into form for a strong run into the post season right about now, but that has been far from the case. Instead, the Bulldogs open their series with Arkansas needing a magical run to reach postseason play.

The Bulldogs and Razorbacks kick it off at 6:35 at Baum Stadium, and they will send Lucas Laster to the mound. Arkansas will counter with Trey Killian.
