Mississippi State takes on Arkansas at 1:05 pm in an attempt to salvage one game of a series after the Bulldogs dropped a 6-1 decision to the Razorbacks Saturday night at Baum Stadium.
Folks, there is not much to say about the disappointment of the 2015 season. The Bulldogs, with a loss Sunday, would drop to .500 overall and 6-15 in SEC play. The team has dropped six straight SEC games, and it has been forever since the Bulldogs won an SEC series.
In short, the team has a very slim shot at making the NCAA field, and their chances of making the SEC tournament are doubtful as well. It will take a complete turnaround to make either of these possibilities happen. Instead, the Bulldogs are more likely to be playing for pride at this point.
