Papelbon wants out of Philadelphia and Graveman has secured a spot in Oakland's starting rotation.

The Orioles are second place in the AL East, and are 4 games behind the Yankees.  They are 46-45.

Jonathan Papelbon

The Phillies are 33-62, and during the All Star Break, Papelbon restated that he does not want to play in Philadelphia anymore.  Despite the stuggles of the Phillies, he has had an outstanding season.

Kendall Graveman

After a bad April, he was sent down to Oakland's AAA team in Nashville, and has done much better since then.  He is pitching tonight against Toronto.  Mark Buehrle will be Toronto's starting pitcher.

Mitch Moreland

Moreland is having the best season of his career.  He has started at first base for most of the season.  Moreland has hit much better against right handed pitchers than left handed pitchers, and has hit much better on the road than at home.

Jacob Lindgren

Lindgren had surgery to remove a bone spur from his left elbow, and could be out until September.

Tyler Moore
