ICYMI: 16 Former Mississippi State Bulldogs Make NFL Rosters

For many Mississippi State players attempting to make the 53-man roster of NFL teams, good news came their way Saturday afternoon.

Last year's senior class saw five players make NFL rosters: Kaleb Eulls (New Orleans), Malcolm Johnson (Cleveland), Benardrick McKinney (Houston), Josh Robinson (Indianapolis), Preston Smith (Washington).

Major tip of the hat to Eulls. After going undrafted, Eulls signed a UFA contract with the Saints and made it onto the roster.

Saturday also brought some sad news for former Bulldogs as Derek Sherrod was cut by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Among practice squad news, Dillon Day hooked up with the Denver Broncos, and Deontae Skinner will be a part of the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad. (h/t @KyleNiblett)
