Mississippi State v. Kentucky Point Spread

The Bulldogs head up to Kentucky for a road SEC matchup

NCAA Football: Mississippi State at Brigham Young Jeff Swinger-USA TODAY Sports

Mississippi State and Kentucky are meeting up tonight and the Bulldogs haven’t lost to the Wildcats since Dan Mullen moved to Starkville. Outside of the blowout a season ago, Kentucky has always played MSU fairly close and it looks like Vegas is expecting more of the same for this season too.

Per the good folks over at Odd Shark, Mississippi State originally opened as a 1.5 point road favorite over the Wildcats. Since then, however, the spread has widened a bit. Depending on who you ask, the Bulldogs are somewhere between a field goal favorite up to being favored by 4 points (and a lot of 3.5 spreads as well).

Expect a close game between State and Kentucky. Both teams are struggling this season and as I mentioned above, the series, particularly so in recent years, has been a closely contested one.
