Former Mississippi State great, Hunter Renfroe, was finally called up to the Padres not too long ago and ever since then he has been on a tear. From his first home run to his first grand slam, Hunter Renfroe has been superb in the big leagues.

And for all of that immediate success, Hunter Renfroe has been dubbed as the National League Player of the Week.

Assuming Renfroe can have this sort of success next season, the Padres might find themselves in the middle of the postseason race next October. Though they failed to call him up earlier, and they also failed to make the playoffs this year, the future for San Diego could be pretty bright with Hunter Renfroe in their regular lineup.
