Hello, Computer. How’s the Internet Today?

Before you get in your obligatory half hour of zoning out at your desk, take a short stroll through some of the MSU-related and maybe-not-so-MSU related miscellany that the internet has to offer.

Hello Computer Croom

Morning Linkage

Last week, I told y’all to go to 3rd and 57 to read about the leadership issues the Bulldogs were facing at quarterback. This week I am telling to you go there to learn why Holloway up the middle is a bad idea and it isn’t just because of his size.

I’m really ticked at myself. I’ve been doing this post the past three Thursdays, and I have yet to link to Stingray’s rant. Love him or hate him, (and there are many State fans who fall on both sides of the fence) he keeps cranking out the rant videos. Here is this week’s rant in preparation for LSU.

Both Mississippi St. Bulldogs and Ole Miss Rebels fans were ticked off or ecstatic yesterday when we found out the Egg Bowl was being moved back to Thanksgiving night in 2017. It’s a move some people love and some people hate. If you want the rest of the schedule for the Bulldogs, you can go here.

Kivon Coman made quite a stir yesterday. He was asked about the difficulties of playing in Death Valley especially at night. He simply said, “It’s not.”

The Internet reacted predictably to such a bold statement by the MSU safety.

Here’s the thing, Kivon Coman has played in Death Valley at night one time his entire life. And we all remember what happened that time.

Or to put another way like our friend from And The Valley Shook Pod Katt put it:

This is Coman’s only experience playing at LSU. Now the obvious response is the Bulldogs no longer have Dak Prescott. But Ross Dellenger points out the Tigers struggled with zone reads against Jacksonville St. And he also says how LSU plans to stop it.

iOS 10, predictably, had issues

Seems like every time Apple releases a new operating system for the iPhone and iPad, there’s something that is always wrong with it. Yesterday was no different.

One new feature to the new operating system is you no longer have to sipe to the left to unlock your phone. This has always been an option if you used the finger print scanner on the home button, but years of habits die hard.

If you’re having issues with iOS 10, there are things you can learn to fix them. This site here will direct you on some things you can do.

Back to my music roots

I grew up on Christian rock. So if that doesn’t interest you, then you can stop reading here.

But if it does, you might know one of the premiere groups in Christian rock is Skillet. They came out with a new album a few weeks ago, and it is pretty good.

But I still like some of their older stuff better. Here’s one of my favorites. Enjoy.
