While we were all glued to the MSU-UConn Final Four game, Mississippi State’s baseball team took the series from Ole Miss in Oxford. The Bulldogs and Rebels battled back and forth, but MSU was able to come away with a 5-3 win. This is coming after last night’s game where the Bulldogs overcame a 3-0 defecit.

The Bulldogs have now won 6 straight, and are sitting at 18-10, and looking at finding a way into the postseason, something that many fans wrote off early on in the season. But here we are.
Mississippi State now has an RPI of 24 according to Warren Nolan. We're right in the thick of things to play in the postseason.

Mississippi State will look to sweep Ole Miss tomorrow, which would be the second straight SEC sweep for the Bulldogs.
