Mississippi State Beats UConn In Overtime On A Buzzer Beater, Ending The Streak at 111 Games

Mississippi State has just snapped UConn’s NCAA record consecutive wins streak! The Bulldogs have done the unthinkable and actually done it and DEFEATED UCONN, 66-64 in overtime! It’s hard to honestly know what to say or how to process it. But the Bulldogs have done it. UConn had won 111 games without a loss with only three — that’s right, three — decided by fewer than double-digits. And yet, Mississippi State really just did it.

The Bulldogs will be taking on South Carolina in the national championship game on Sunday, April 2. The game tips off at 6 p.m. This will be the third matchup between these two teams this season.
