Mississippi State has just snapped UConn’s NCAA record consecutive wins streak! The Bulldogs have done the unthinkable and actually done it and DEFEATED UCONN, 66-64 in overtime! UConn had won 111 games without a loss with only three — that’s right, three — decided by fewer than double-digits. And yet, Mississippi State really just did it.
State’s 5’5 Morgan William’s shot decided the outcome in perhaps the greatest buzzer beater in NCAA Tournament history. Here was the moment:

The Bulldogs will be taking on South Carolina in the national championship game on Sunday, April 2. The game tips off at 6 p.m. This will be the third matchup between these two teams this season.
