As the 2019 NFL draft is in Nashville, the home fans will be welcoming Bulldog defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons to their Titans. Simmons shined at Mississippi State, as his versatile combination of speed, agility, and power along the defensive line will fit right in on the pro level. Additionally, there is no overlooking a college career that boasts 163 total tackles, seven sacks, seven passes defensed, and five forced fumbles.

Simmons is in the perfect situation with the Titans, as Mike Vrabel, a former defensive force and is at the helm. While Simmons may not start to open the season, he has the necessary mentorship at hand. Expect to see Simmons as an potential franchise cornerstone in Tennessee.

Hail State!
